● Solved tickets raised by Becton Dickinson business tool based on HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and JavaScript.

Academic Projects

● Developed an online tourism website which displays the information about places and tourist locations situated in that place for the End user. This web development was completed using SASS, HTML5, Bootstrap and jQuery. The site also has user login page whose details are stored as cookies and session variables in PHP and updated at backend in my SQL database.

● Parsed the XML format file containing movies list (data taken from IMDB) and displayed the movies list in the front- endwebpage using AJAX call. User experience the movie details including the title of the movie, director, year of release, genre list along with cast and crew who were involved in the movie.

● Displayed the popular baby names across US by making AJAX call in jQuery and connecting to MySQL server using PHP and retrieved the data in JSON file format and displayed in webpage depending on user choice in UI. MySQL, JSON, AJAX, jQuery and HTML were used for this purpose.

● Built an online music application store (similar to Spotify Web Player)which display the list of tracks by popular artist.There are various selection criteria which the User can select to customize their choice that is based on artists, based on the song name, genre of song, etc. An additional screen asking for setup of premium services is added to the application store. The back end primarily used for web application development wasMongoDB. Reactjavascript was used for server sidedevelopment and Angular frameworks was deployed to develop the project.

● Developed an email classification algorithm in Python for classifying an email as ham or spam using Naive-Bayes classifier with Laplace smoothing. The accuracy of the model was 89% with stopwords and 91% without them. The same problem was extended to logistic regression for the purpose of classification. The accuracy of logistic curve was 74%. The accuracy of the model was evaluated using ROC curve.

● Built a Decision tree using ID3 Algorithm for monks dataset from UCI Repository. The accuracy was calculated of trees of varying depth using confusion matrix. The results of ID3 Algorithm were compared with Scikit-Learn module. The tree learned out of ID3 Algorithm showed similar results as the tree learned from Scikit-Learn. The overall accuracy of model with a depth of 5 proved to be 78%. The same ID3 Algorithm was applied to lenses data from UCI repository as well.
