I am an experienced Quality Engineer that is always ready for a challenge. I can provide leadership through my experiences since I have worked in a fasted paced industry for over 20 years. I have had work experiences with all the OEMs. I have worked on projects from development, mass production, change management, warranty, and end of life. I have led corrective action countermeasure implementations and worked to reduce part cost with six sigma activities. EXPERIENCE

03/12/2019 – 04/30/2020

CUSTOMER QUALITY ENGINEER, ZF, Marshall IL

Worked in the component electronics division as a braking customer quality engineer. I ensured the Product Life Cycle was successful for product launches, PPAPed new models to the customer, production quality engineering issues were taken care of daily and warranty returns were addressed in a timely manner.

10/15/12 – 03/07/2019

LAUNCH CHANGE MANAGEMENT QE, Thyssenkrupp, Terre Haute, IN

Implemented steering column design changes successfully and on time into the plant by working with designers, production, logistics and engineering. This included running plant trials and ensuring all documentation was completed. Once the changes were implemented, I was responsible for PPAPing the change to the customer. Responsible for plant capacity studies.

03/15/14 – 09/15/2014

PRODUCTION QUALITY ENGINEER, Thyssenkrupp, Terre Haute, IN

This position was for mass production quality. It was a temporary position to support the plant in time of need. They needed an experienced engineer that had all the quality rights to improve the line performance. I was responsible for training new PQE in this position and worked closely with the process engineers to come up with process improvements on the line that met the design requirements.

04/26/2010 – 10/14/2012

APQP QUALITY ENGINEER, Thyssenkrupp, Terre haute, IN

Worked with the product development engineers as their APQP QE. I ensured all drawings and documentation met the Thyssenkrupp standards. I was responsible for all line specifications. I was also responsible for all flow down of the critical characteristics from our customer to our suppliers. I had to PPAP all products to our customers. I ensured all lab checks were being met and all measurements could be taken in the lab. I also signed off on new lines ensuring the lines met the drawing requirements.

11/15/2004 – 03/15/2009

NEW MODEL QUALITY ENGINEER, AISIN USA MFG. SEYMOUR, IN

Worked in the seating department doing new models but also has a few mass productions lines. The largest project I had was a brand-new 3rd row power seat. This required weekly meetings at the customer solving all the design issues before launch. I approved new lines for quality specifications and ensured gages were built to drawing requirements.

11/15/2002 – 07/15/2004

PPAP COORDINATOR, HFI INC.

I was responsible for all changes to interior trim and had to PPAP all the projects on time to our customers. This required communication with our designs, planners, and our customers. I was responsible for process documentation and data for PPAP. I also was responsible for reviewing and approving internal corrective actions. I ensured all corrective actions were properly done and all counter measures were fulfilled. In this role I was an internal auditor for our plant.

06/07/1999 – 11/14/2002

QUALITY CONTROL REPRESENTATIVE, HFI INC.

I was the main customer contact for production issues. I was responsible for all 8D, 5 Whys, QPR, SCAR reports. I had to form teams to answer the reports and find a root cause and countermeasure. I also was responsible for the defects database for the company.

My degree was in Operations Management and the course work was half business and half engineering.
