Responsible for the payroll processing of designated companies/business units; ensuring the timely & accurate administration of all employee compensation as per the established policies within the required turnaround times. PAYROLL PROCESS

Ensuring adherence of companies/business units to payroll processes.

Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll for all staff as per current contracts and company policies and procedures.

Executing entries and following up employees’ overtime, deductions, loans, additions, commissions, and unpaid leaves.

Checking the payroll system to confirm the entry of al all new joiners.

Checking the consistency of staff allocation in the payroll versus budgets or division feedback, etc.

Following the UAE local laws and Group’s policies/procedures to calculate final dues for leavers or transferred employees.

Preparing and maintaining schedules required for the group’s annual audit: i. Bonus Provision ii. Indemnity Provision iii. Leave Provision.

Presenting the updated full year salary and headcount on a monthly basis.

Reconciling the general ledger balances (balance sheet accounts) against manual schedules of provisions.

Maintaining close liaison with internal and external auditors to respond to inquiries. OTHER DUTIES

Conducting monthly review of subsidiary and general ledger balances related to salaries.

Properly maintaining all files maintenance (printouts or soft copy) in a safe and secure manner.

Preparing Manpower Budget R1 and R2 for the full year (staff cost related to salaries and provisions as per business unit) and 3-year plans.

Preparing variable analysis on monthly basis -Actual vs. Budget.

Coordinating with HRBP for the manpower budget and preparing the changes as per business requirements.

Processing joint ventures payroll as per brands requirements; sending the file for prior approval of country’s Brand Managers (e.g. Christin Dior, Christian Louboutin, Sephora and Fendi).

Periodically calculating employees’ variable bonus preparation as per their achievement - calculating turnover and profitability bonus.

Creating new legal entity and transferring the employee from one company to another company. (i.e. transferred 800 employees to another legal entity in July 2017).
