September 2018 – June 2019
In this position I adopted and developed appropriate curriculum within my team. My duties included to understand and implement Uphall Primary School’s curriculum policies, schemes of work and topic plans. I successfully worked collaboratively within the department as well as independently. I use National and local strategies to raise my pupils standards. I differentiated my planning for my pupils, for those learners identified on the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Register in line with school policy. Where possible I use previous assessments effectively when planning future learning and planning assessment alongside learning. I set clear learning objectives and success criteria for all my lessons.
I contributed to the whole school's planning and monitoring activities. I have taken on the additional responsibilities of being part of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) in organising extra curricular activities in the school to promote pupil engagement.

I was responsible for a Year 5 class at Colegrave Primary School, the school and training provider were rated as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED in 2017. I was employed by the National Probation Service as a Court Duty Officer. My main responsibilities were to assist the Court in sentencing defendants, this was carried out by preparing Pre-Sentence
Reports and providing up to date information on the compliance of any existing Orders defendants were subjected to.

I ran and taught IT workshops, which aimed to enable and empower elderly people in Redbridge to use technology. The role entailed tutoring small groups of service users, where I taught introduction to computer skills.
