Planner or Senior or Lead & Site Coordinator with experience on Greenfield and Brownfield projects in the oil and gas, mining and steel works industries. Ability to plan & schedule activities Level 1 to 5 using basic info such as BOQ, Flow diagrams, P&ID’s & plot plans, including loading of resourcing and costing. Ability identifying, analysing and providing innovative logic solutions to planning and scheduling problems. Able to adapt with any project situations. Responsibilities

To develop totally integrated EPC schedules and control programs, prepare project planning basis, develop schedule format and a list of activities, establish the duration of the activities and overall logic for the execution of work to achieve the project commitments on time on budget and using the planned resources

Working with and controlling Sub contractors planning reporting department and Planners

Coding by means of Work Breakdown Structure and Activity Codes; Shutdown Scheduling

Interlinking activities to determine the Critical Path; Weighted Schedules and Backup sheets

Loading the project Resources and Costs, Creating Manpower & Costing "S" Curves

Fast Track re-scheduling, mitigating when slippages occur to assist getting project back on track

Integrating sub-contractor’s programmes into overall programme and monitoring of subcontractors

Gaining programme approval, creating base plan to compare actual vs. planned start and finish dates

Engineering & Procurement Controlling comparing with base plan to assess the delays

Monitoring of incoming materials, site instructions, punch lists, delay sheets, Costing schedules, Piping work packs, Material take off list

Reports – look ahead reports, Monthly, KPI, Milestone, Mitigation, Critical path, S curves, Pie chart, dashboards and any Management report required.

Client & Nature of project – 2x150 MW Boilers with transmission lines (Panama)

FQM Purchased the mine complete with the project, therefore been the Client, EPCM & Sub contract altogether. Planning was responsible for all the department progress reporting which resulted in +/- 120 reports, covering weekly and monthly from Primavera schedule to Feeder sheets, Dashboard, S-curves, Management KPI, Level 1&2, pie charts, and whatever reporting required by management.
