oProject: Finite Element Analysis of Engine Flywheel for Ashok Leyland, a leading OEM--The project deals with reduction of stress values of an Axi-Symmetric Model of Flywheel using I-DEAS (Master Series) software. The dimensions were modified & the stress values were reduced from the existing model. The rotation speed of the flywheel was set at about 3500 rpm & this project is a big success under Indian road conditions.

Research on Failure Analysis of Hip Prosthesis:

The research deals with the implementation of alternative material UHMWPE (Ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene), Ti6Al4V, Co-Cr alloy & PEEK (Poly Ether Ether keetone) composite materials for the human hip joint.

It involves model development, analysis using 3D FEM, Fatigue analysis using MATLAB, Wear modelling & stress analysis
