Adjudicate credit applications in accordance with the delegated lending limits and the company’s established credit risk appetite and tolerance together with supporting documentation, to ensure compliance with Manulife's policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Provided recommendations and developed action plans outlining corrective actions to mitigate risk and exposure.

Senior Manager - Wholesale Credit Risk June-2015 – February-2019

Adjudicated credit proposals by exercising sound credit judgement. The credit due diligence included reviewing credit reports, compliance to covenants, collateralization, financial statement analysis and proposing alternate structure to mitigate risk to ensure compliance with Bank’s credit policies.

Conducted regular credit exception reviews (i.e. expired credits, delinquent accounts, covenant breaches and document deficiencies) and monitored assigned portfolio for early warning signals; working with front line teams, exceptions were reduced by 60% (on average) within six months.
