Job Description :

As soon as the patient is admitted, the patient must be informed about the duration of the examination (MRI), then the patient must be asked if he has any other disease, if he has an allergy to them;Contrast products, and especially if it is the protector of a pace maker or other things against indicated for mri safety and of course you must not forget the pregnant woman must know that it is pregnant period, then if the examination (MRI) requires the injection of the contrast product it is necessary to take an approach for the patient finally passes to make the MRI examination where the patient was well placed in the machine and all necessary antennas were connected and we begin our examination.

As soon as the examination is finished, remove first the patient and put a little thought and ask him to wait for the result of his examination.

NB: for the MRI examination, the patient must remove all that is in metal (the fake jewels, an ext ... watch).

It is never difficult to get the diagnosis out especially from MRI .

As soon as I do an MRI I can arrive at diagnostic and that's with my experience during 10 years of practice.

Furthermore I must have these skills in MRI :

Provides MRI procedures on pediatric and adult patients on a referral basics and the right parametres must be changed

perform the operational activities pertaining to the MRI imaging services to ensure delivery of a high quality diagnostic imaging service

I work independently and I can perform all routine and specialized MRI procedures and associated responsibilities

support the supervisor MRI to manage and maintain a high level of expertise and reducing faults and issues effectively to guarantee the safe operations of the MRI equipment, ensuring an efficient flow and optimal utilization of resources

Cases Handled:

Cardiac MRI :CINE sequences are practiced by the SIEMENS AVANTO 1.5 TESLA and sequences in the 3 planes (4 cavities, 2 cavities, small axes), dynamic injection and viability and late sequences after 10 min to the contrast uptake of myocarditis or ischemia with TI study.

Cerebral mri with its usual sequences :TSE, FLAIR, DIFFUSION, FLASH2D, SE T1, TOF 3D) otherwise we use the optional sequences when required : perf(IN CASE IF TUMOR) spectroscopy(tumor or metabolic diseases), CISS 3D, FLASH3D DYNAMIC ( IN CASE OF TSA)

MRI of the soft parts is often used with STIR and FAT SAT sequences

MR CHOLANGIOGRAPHY, ABDOMEN MRI : HASTE ( single shot which minimizes motion artifacts), T1 FLASH2D, IN OPP PAHSE SEQUENCE, VIBE(dynamic sequences),RARE and BLADE SEQUENCE ( sequence with spiral path that we use always to restless patients)

ANGIO MR : TOF3D, PC(phase contrast ), SSFP (STEADY STATE FREE PRECESSION), CONTRAST ENHANCED ( dynamic sequence that uses GADOLINIUM which causes shortening of the t1 relaxation of blood compared with background tissue leading to a high signal intensity of blood on t1 weighted and the area of interest is imaged in the first pass of contrast )

musculoskeletal MRI uses usually PD SEQUENCES

the other exams ( spinal mri, parotids, orbital mri, hip, nasopharyngeal mri ) are daily practiced
