• Rationale for project: Understanding the key behaviors of individuals with mental illnesses regarding the use of social media may help occupational therapists understand the possible e ects of social media on a patient’s mental health.

• Content: A structured educational seminar for parents of middle-school aged children including infor- mation regarding social media addiction and social media anxiety, common symptoms, mental risks, and physical risks, and points for audience brainstorming, interaction, and discussion to increase engagement

• Presented at a professional interdisciplinary poster presentation held at Le Moyne College on May 17, 2019
