I completed one month in each of the hospitals as a rotation for six hours per day. My stay was mainly part of my clinical rotations, were I rounded with different teams: Oncology team, ICU team, CSU team, Pediatrics team, and internal medicine team. I had the opportunity to interact closely with the prescriber and to promote the rational prescribing and use of drugs. I had access to medical records, allowing me to influence the selection of drugs and dosage regimens, to monitor patient compliance and therapeutic response to drugs, and to recognize and report adverse drug reactions. Tasks included patient monitoring, therapeutic consultation, in-service presentation and communication with health care professionals and patients.
