I also took care of the building’s utilities and bills. I wore many hats as a secretary to Mr. Escovilla’s office. I learned a plenty and had a lot of fun. I left in 2016 to venture overseas in search of greater opportunities.

This was a busy establishment on weekends. I worked 12 hour shifts mostly on my feet. However, it was a very satisfying experience as my second job. I honed my skills at working with the public.

This was my first real job. Here I learned to cook and prepare meals in a quick efficient way. Coco’s restaurant did catering for functions and parties. During these times work was challenging as we prepared more than 1000 meals per day. This type of work prepared me for the challenges of working in a fast-moving environment. I also learned to deal with customers as I waited tables. This was the day to day business of the restaurant. Working at Coco’s South Bistro was an amazing and fun opportunity for me. I learned and matured as I became an efficient cook.
