• Fluid structure interaction for a transport wing

- The interaction between a semi-regid structure and the surrounding fluid environment is a issue in the stability investigation of aircraft wings & design of tapered wing. Here the deformation exist in this wing model caused by the aeroelastic effects determined using a subsonic wind tunnel coupled with gimbal balance. These test are carried out with the help of a manual methods at various speed in subsonic mach number range & various angle of attack in subsonic wind tunnel. Its helpful in observing the behaviour of fluid flow over tapered wing. AREA OF INTEREST
