Technologies worked on:

Maintenance & Operation of Power Process control devices, measurement & Calibration of devices like Transmitters, Vibration/Speed Sensors, Process parameter Converters, Gauges, Thermocouples, RTDs, Switches, Dampers, O2 Analyzers (Yokogawa), Opacity monitor (Sick), SOVs, Compressors (Atlascopo), Air Drier (Atlascopo),Distributed Control System (DCS) –Yokogawa.

Conceptualization and preparation of I/O list (DI. DO, AI, AO, TC, RTD) for DCS used in different system of a power plant.

Erection and Commissioning of different types of pressure transmitter, Differential pressure transmitter, Control valves (pneumatic), Dampers, Oxygen analyzer (Yokogawa), Opacity monitor (Sick), Generator Temp. Scanner and other field instrument in the power plant.

Erection and Commissioning of Proximeter & Vibration Probes for Automation & Protection of Turbine system.

Implementation of logics in DCS(Yokogawa) as well as PLC system.

Implementation of Hard wire configuration in DCS, PLC etc.

Role & Responsibility related to Maintenance.-

Trouble Shoot the snag with less down time as per the established quality standard.

Monitoring of Turbine & Boiler parameters time to time at regular intervals and taking necessary preventive action if the parameters go out of limit.

Provide the necessary support by arranging Spares, Tools, T/S manuals related to work.

Trouble shoot the snags related to Pneumatic & Motorized Control Valve, Solenoid Operated Valve & Dampers, Transmitters/Transducers like Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature (Siemens, ABB, Rosemount, Yokogawa), Hydrastep (Electronics drum level indicator) and others Instruments related to D.C.S & P.L.C parameters in power plant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the maintenance activities of control and Instrumentation Systems.

Troubleshoot, analyze and modify if necessary the issues responsible for failure of plant control and instrumentation system .

To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability.

Attending to system breakdown and preventive maintenance calls.

Testing and calibration of the equipments for ensuring equipment accuracy and reliability.

Installation, testing, commissioning and proving the performance guarantee parameters of the entire Ash handling equipments.

Supervising a team of engineers and technicians for regular and corrective maintenance of electrical and field instrumentation, PLCs, and Local panels.

Work Planning of Shutdown Maintenance, Daily Maintenance Planning, Preventive Maintenance Report Making, Instrument History Maintained, Spare Requirement Etc.

Preparation of Monthly Job Reports, Shutdown Job Reports, Breakdown and Maintenance Job Reports, Job allocation and supervising.

Worked with proper maintenance of permit closing and ensuring the safety of Employees.

All Instruments Installation checked as per P&ID and Hook up Drawings.

Conducting Periodic training to the team of technicians both from Company & Contractor side for effective operation & maintenance of electrical, control system & instrumentation related topics.
