RESPONSIBILITES

Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.

Preparing and monitoring of fabrication sequencing as per codes and standards during fabrication work is performed in accordance with the approved construction procedure, specification and correct materials of Process Piping/ Pipeline.

Prepare the one week look ahead schedule that needs to be submitted to the planning department for review and inputs to draw up the final execution for the piping department.

Proper arrangement of equipment and manpower based on the site without delaying of production daily bases.

Attending daily safety and production meeting.

Participation and preparing of Task Risk Assessment for the given job to categorize and measure the precaution for the task carry out job safely.

Implement the permit to work (PTW) system and follow Life Saving Rules (LSR).

Responsible for conducting the daily Tool Box Talk and providing safety awareness to the crew members.

Daily progress report follows up.

Supervise the team for timely and accurate work execution, ensure that all the work activities in safe conditions and get completed as per the quality norms and as per project specifications.

Responsible for establishing, promote and maintaining a safe and hazard free working environment. Formulates and develops safety policies and procedures with the help of the HSE department.

Ensure that all him Fabrication/ Welding/ Erection related records such as bill of materials, weld card, consumables etc., are properly archived, and cooperate with safety and QA/QC inspectors by performing as per their recommendations.

Responsible for planning and executing the Hydro-testing of piping after closing the punch list from the client.

Resolving technical queries to co-ordination with the client for site modifications and getting approval as per the standards and revised drawings also.

Re-check the installed piping components as per P&ID and reviewing isometric for reinstatement.

Responsible to make As-Built drawings and maintain all the revised documents / Close coordination with QA/QC department for all concern inspection and documentation.

Responsible to study and interpret the design which is generally prepared by the planners.

Responsible to supervise the piping installation and modification works properly.

Responsible of plan, organize, execution of piping fabrication and erection works.

Responsible for ensuring the job progresses as per schedule timely.

Ensure the productivity and high quality of the subordinates and the sub-contractors activates.

Preparing the documents at the various stages of development of the project.

Report to the Construction Manager about the daily work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.
