For routing I am very familiar with CISCO Fiber MUX ONS 15454, CISCO 7200vxr, 3600, 3800 and other small CISCO CPE routers. I have installed both fiber & serial satellite links overseas for providers.

For switching I am very familiar with CISCO Catalyst and Nexus Switches. I have worked on firmware IOS upgrades to enable layer 3 switching as needed or setup isolated VLAN.(Feb 97-Aug 13)

For VOIP CISCO various gateways, including UC540, UC560 running CISCO Call Manager Express). I have many years with CISCO Call Manager and CISCO Unity, currently mostly using Call Manager version up to version 11.5.

Upgraded CISCO IOS firmware for necessary SIP or H323 VOIP connections to various SIP gateways including Avaya and Asterisk based IP PBXs.

For Security I have used CISCO Pix, more recently ASA 5505, ASA5505 and ASA 5550 at various locations.

Installed many IP PBX like Digium’s Asterisk with queue metrics, SNOM and Free PBX.
