Nature of Project : Construction of 13 km tunnel with six underground stations And pressure balanced machine ( EPBM).

Responsibilities

·Assigned full time site health and safety supervision and to promote safe work conduct to all staff and employees.

·Provide full time coverage during all shifts at their designated worksite.

·Report directly to the relevant Health and Safety Officer and assist the HS&S Manager as required.

·Conduct daily site health and safety inspection and immediately rectify unsafe acts or conditions.

·Ensure that all applicable rules and regulations are being observed on site at all times.

·Assist investigations with regard to accidents/ incidents or dangerous occurrence by compiling and reporting all relevant details required to the Health and Safety Officer and / or HS&S Manager.

·Assist in review and recommendation of means to prevent recurrence of such incidents to their Health and Safety Officer.

·Check plant and equipment and the validity of all appropriate test certificates by accredited third parties and ISG JV plant sticker validity procedures.

·Assist the Site Health and Safety Officer in conducting emergency evacuation and fire drills.
