BIO
From the age of 20 to 32, I completed
two degrees (BA, MA) and nearly two
more (B.ED, French baccalaureate)
while undertaking studies in several
areas of the Humanities and Social
Sciences and Liberal Arts in four
Canadian Universities (UBC, Ottawa,
Laval, Queen's). At the same time, I
worked part-time in several
industries (Construction, Hospitality,
Natural Resources) during summers,
interned with a variety of small-scale
family enterprises, and served two
years as a junior Officer in the
Canadian Forces (army reserve). 39
now and still unmarried, I devote
many hours to professional Teaching
duties and Hobbies: studying
languages, playing sports (especially
football and basketball) and reading
and writing widely. Traveling to
North Africa, four Eastern provinces
of China, Central America, the
Arabian Gulf, the Caucasus, the Black
Sea, and Central and Southeast Asia
from 2014-20 has afforded me
amazing opportunities to teach and
travel, with eye-opening cultural
encounters. I am devoted to the
profession of Teaching for many
more years to come.
