Owens, founded in 1965, is a public community college with campuses in Toledo and Findlay Ohio and serves 7,748 students with an academic and administrative staff 1,060.

• Tasked with leadership of all Owens Express Athletics including a staff of 16 coaches and administrative support staff, and all strategic planning, budgeting and revenue generation of the $434,000 P&L.

• Leads all marketing and communications including internal communications, website design, and social media management with more than 30,000 followers on targeted sites.

• Senior leadership skills recognized in appointment as Operations Director of the Student Health & Activities Center that includes five basketball courts, Fitness Center, Track and Weight Room, and led a 40% increase in student use of services.

• Created a targeted web-based fundraising tool within the Owens Express Foundation to increase donations by 20% year over year.

• Lead the athletic program to 8 conference championships, two National Runner-up recognitions and the 2018 NJCAA Division III Volleyball National Championship.

• Created a brand identity and activation plan for athletics that increased the available funds to support programing by more than 20%.

Dayak, Inc. Carlsbad, CA

Dayak was an online collaboration between Employers, Staffing Firms, and Recruiters to allow users to fill jobs faster by leveraging a nationwide network of thousands of professionals recruiters who can quickly source and screen qualified candidates.

• Tasked with brand development, web site traffic growth, and business plan with sales growth strategy for this start-up, prior to the move back to the Midwest.

Senior Vice President Online Marketing 2006-2008

Student Loan Xpress San Diego, CA

Student Loan Xpress is a member of CIT Group and ceased originating student loans in 2005 after the government takeover of student lending. Student loans by SLX are now bundled under the American Education Services (AES) the national provider of federal and private student loans.

• Managed a team of 20 professionals and 35 agency partners and a $100 million portfolio for this $11 billion provider of educational finance solutions,

• Created and implemented the digital marketing strategies and media plans for all volume goals in both traditional and non-traditional media, special product offerings and sponsorships.

• Generated $300 million in loan volume in 2006 through e-commerce campaigns, exceeding goals by 10%. Director, National Brand Marketing 1999-2006

America Online, Inc. Dulles, VA

AOL is an American web portal and online services provider and is brand marketed by Verizon Media. Today AOL is owned by Time Warner which is owned by AT&T.

• Promoted to National Brand Marketing, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Advertising & Marketing, and was responsible for brand and revenue generations of six large national sports team partners, NFL, NBA, NASCAR, MLB, PGA and the NCAA.

• Negotiated all six partner contracts with a total revenue of $140 million, and cultivated daily relationships with 14 agencies while leading a team of 200 professionals with a $10 million operating budget.

• Led AOL’s NASCAR Winston/Nextel Cup car title sponsorship with Richard Childress Racing, exceeding all marketing goals, delivered a 20% increase in sponsorship partnerships which brought in an incremental

$20 million in revenue over a two-year period.

• Partnered with AOL Shopping for all retail merchandise at events that garnered $55 million.

• Negotiated a technology transfer from a retail SKU system to better control product inventory for AOL, avoiding a significant capital outlay.
