SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND
Experienced in safety aspects for Civil and Electro-Mechanical Construction. Includes implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) rules and regulations set by the company, safety awareness program, loss prevention, all aspects of incident prevention, security, fire prevention and control, motor or vehicular incident prevention and control of equipment and property damage of company and client.
ACTIVITIES
Monitor and implement the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental program.
Be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of incident prevention, loss control program, fire prevention, motor fleet incident prevention, control of equipment and property damages as well as first aid policies and procedures.
Advice management of the following:
a.Ways to improve existing work methods
b.Suitability of new hired equipment from safety viewpoint
c.Changes on safety requirement
d.Potential hazards on new contracts before work starts
e.Safety organization and fire prevention plans of the project
f.Work permits if necessary
g.Suitable security program
Recommend corrective actions through pro-active job supervision initiate the cessation of work if a safe area where there is eminent danger and stipulate necessary measure to take, to the permit resumption of work.
Carry out site surveys to see it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observe and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.
Foster within the company and understanding that the prevention of injury and damage control are an integral part of the business and operational efficiency.
Inspect the worksite daily. Report and correct unsafe acts and conditions
Prepare Job Hazard and Risk Assessment.
Conduct incident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and prevention actions.
Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/ government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measure by responsible supervision.
Keep up to date with recommended code of safety practices and safety literature. Disseminate applicable information to all levels of work force.
Complete safety surveillance of work activities.

ACCOMPLISHMENT:
Juaymah Camp and Facilities
Conduct HSE specific programs such as Working at Heights, Confined Space Training, Hot Work Safety and other safety trainings.
Participate and conduct weekly audit in order to improve the system that will benefit in the safe execution of work and ensure that proper documentation of ARCC HSE Procedure is in place.
Assist in equipment audit to ensure that all mobile / stationary equipments were in good condition.
Assist in generating HSE Alert, HSSE Bulletin and safety checklist in line with HSE-MS Procedure or as part of the corrective actions for the client specific requirements.
Assess and participate in various emergency response drills in Juaymah Camp.
Conduct incident investigation and provide recommendation.
Conduct monthly inspection of tools, construction equipments, and firefighting equipment’s.
Ras Tanurah Refinery – Hydrocracker Charge Pump
Assigned in Ras Tanurah Refinery as HSSE Engineer in Hydrocracker Charge Pump Upgrade Retrofit Project.
Implementation of approved Project Safety and Loss Prevention Program with primary function of performing continuously at worksite to ensure continuing performance of field of work force with all relevant Health, Safety, Security and Environment requirements.
Conduct documented Pre-Deployment Safety Orientation with new site employees or returnees prior to mobilization to project site.
Report all Weekly HSE Statistics and monthly HSE Statistics submitted to (JGC GULF/SAPMT) office as well as Safety report and accomplishment every week.
Conduct monthly inspection (power tools, hand tools, equipments. Rigging equipment, ladders, full body harness, fire extinguisher to ensure all are inspected and safe to use.
Regular participation to the Safety meeting with SAPMT and JGC GULF.
Closely monitors scaffold erection/ dismantling work permit-required confined space entries, crane works / lifting works at J80 Charge pump and closely monitor some critical activities at site.
Coordinate for Safety, Health and Environmental issues with the client counterpart in the field that affects day to day operation.
Initiate all Saudi ARAMCO Certification Crane Operator, Riggers, Scaffolding Supervisors, Scaffolding Inspector, Work Permit Receiver, and Fire Watcher as per required by the Saudi ARAMCO standard.
