Project Title : Design improvement of vehicle bumper beam for low speed impact Software used : Solid Works, Ansys
In this project the crashworthiness of the bumper beam was improved for slow speed impact. The current design was modified in various iterations and impact analysis was done which resulted in improved internal energy absorption.
Project Title : Dynamic analysis of different material for designing of disc brake rotor Software used : Solid Works, Ansys
In this project a comparative study and analysis was done on the regular disc brake rotor and the modified rotors. The project helped in concluding how and alternative material can be used for improved braking performance.
Project Title : Design and optimization of seatbelt buckle mount Software used : Solid Works, Ansys
In this project the focus was for value added engineering. I had designed and optimized the seatbelt buckle mount for the Indian standards of safety and reduced the cost of production. Project Title : Layout designing of sensors for Exhaust After Treatment System for BSVI diesel engines
Project Role : Intern
During the course of this project, I learned how changes to the exhaust after treatment system can reduce the emission from the vehicle. The positioning of sensors aids in transmitting the corrective input to reduce the emission and making the vehicle more environment friendly.
Project Title : Brake assisted steering system
Project Role : Team Member
Software used : Solid Works
During this project, I gained knowledge on how brake assisted steering systems help a driver to steer by augmenting steering through reduction of speed of the outer wheel, while taking a high-speed turn.
