Senior Project
Our senior year project was aimed to produce environmentally friendly fuels. The project also aims to decrease CO2 emissions and replace diesel oil and gasoline with what is called green fuels. The CO2 and methane were transformed into synthesis gas, which is a mixture of CO and H2 obtained from catalytic methane reforming reactions. The synthesis gas produced in our project can be used as a source to produce methanol, dimethyl ether (DME), and other compounds.
