• Role: Responsibilities:

• Finals line supervisor – Scheduled employees and assigned work for each employee. I was responsible for making sure all semi-trailers where ready for customers to pick up.

• Make sure all of the semi-trailers met DOT regulations and Quality Standards.

• Safety – make sure all employees followed OSHA regulations and company policies.

• 6S – Installed lockable shadow boards for tools. This reduced time of finding the correct tools for the job. Outlining of floor area to make sure all equipment was put back in the correct space. 6S walks at the first and end of each shift.

• Management over 30 to 40 employees at all times this helped maintain workflow and production levels.

• Blue print reading – Went over blue prints with management and engineering to make sure that each Semitrailer had all correct parts and was DOT ready.

• Built in Quality board – I was responsible for putting this into place for a visual check for all defects on each Semi-trailer. This would also help keep up with defects per unit in the plant.

• Work in progress – Make sure all employees where using standard operating techniques for each job they performed.

• Supervisor Daily Responsibilities checklist – This check list helped with daily responsibilities I had to keep up with. This also helped with time management during the day.
