Mechanical Drafter, Eravant Inc., Torrance, California, United States October 2019 - March 2020

● Collaborated with Product Engineers in the design and development of radio frequency (RF) and millimeter wave components, subassemblies, and products for stronger performance using SolidWorks and DraftSight CAD Software

● Reduced customer invoice time for Sales and Application Engineers by reviewing vendors’ drawings, developing Bill of Materials (BOM) and detail drawings, and gathering necessary cost of information for Request for Quotations (RFQs)

● Innovated the designs of existing millimeter wave products; Waveguide to Coaxial Adapter, Power Dividers, Horn Antennas, and Waveguide Directional Couplers, across various frequencies and bands to resolve faulty test results

● Participated in product development from conception with fellow Engineers to deliver first-to-market designs for customers

● Designed and drafted various housings for complex millimeter wave components in SolidWorks for different industries including: 5G & Internet of Things, Test Instrumentation, Science & Academia, Communications, and Radar

● Modeled customized products and subassemblies to meet customers’ performance, quality, cost, and schedule objectives

● Optimized product designs’ quality and cost by negotiating raw materials with suppliers and researching alternatives Internship as Mechanical Design Engineer, WIFAG-Polytype Holding AG, Fribourg, Switzerland June 2018 - July 2018

● Operated SolidWorks Surfacing and Plastics to optimize the 3D models for blow molding machines and to analyze plastic behaviors and injection molds

● Reviewed and drafted SolidWorks drawings made by Mechanical Engineers to maintain cost and revenue objectives

● Supported technicians and engineers to maintain performance, schedule, and quality objectives set by customers

● Strengthened problem solving techniques with machine operators and molding engineers to ensure maximum production efficiencies and optimum performance on plastic bottle injection and blow molding machines

● Interpreted timely and lasting solutions for machine performance malfunction by conducting root cause analysis of mechanical and electrical failures alongside the maintenance personnel Internship as Research Analyst, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Jakarta, Indonesia August 2017 - September 2017

● Collected list of potential acquisition targets for global consumer goods company operating in more than 70 countries

● Analyzed historical financial performance of several companies, encompassing profitability, cash flow, and liquidity

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Research Assistant, University of California Irvine September 2017- March 2019 With Professor Wang and Professor Brouwer

● Designed a 10 cm x 10 cm single stack PEM fuel cell with nickel foam flow field and used SolidWorks to make a 3-D model

● Simulated the PEM fuel cell with different flow channel designs in ANSYS Fluent to obtain theoretical values of pressure differential and optimum temperature; to determine relations between flow field geometry and fuel cell performance

● Fabricated the metal components with milling machine and CNC machine

● Assembled the PEM Fuel Cell and analyzed data results by plotting the polarized curve in Excel ADDITIONAL
