Description: FasTrack English is an intentionally designed curriculum that features activities that give children, from the age of 3 to 12, an immersive learning experience. Utilizing the PIE (Positive Innovative English Reinforcement) teaching method and an interactive whiteboard, I taught a 90 minute classes (7-12 students) with the native Chinese teacher. The children are in the last year of nursery school, between the ages of 5 and 6.

Description: Camp Northwood is a seven week residential camp for approximately 120 learning challenged children from the ages of 10 to 22. Located 3 hours outside New York city. The program is deigned to help these children to participate in camping activities while getting the professional support and structure necessary to meet their individual needs.
I worked in Camp Nothwood during the summer through an English agency called Camp America. I was part of a team working with a group of 5 adolescent campers who possessed learning challenges such as attention deficit disorder, language processing deficits, Down Syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder, low cognitive functioning and autistic spectrum disorders. I also tutored them with their English reading, writing and Maths.
