Investor, Developer & Operator of Commercial Real Estate in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Created a portfolio of MRPC Hotels, including, developing and constructing a Comfort Suites (65 Units) by Choice Hotels in Newark, Delaware. Opened in 1997 and was the first all-Suite property that later created the birth of true Extended Stay Suites in the market. Open in January 2015 as, an expansion (addition of 3 stories) to convert to 120 unit Four Points by Sheraton with approvals for Management by Marriott Hotels. The addition of a “Farm A Sea” –Craft Wine Bar & Restaurant with Day Spa. Explored EB 5 Financing for Hotels.

Converted a former Holiday Inn into a unique dual-branded hotel with a Shared Lobby Concept Quality Inn was franchised on the interior corridor, 2 stories, and 49 unit hotels. Econo-Lodge Inn & Suites was franchised on the exterior corridor, two stories, and a 92-unit motel.

Created one of the newest Mid-Scale hotels in Corporate Christiana Metro Form of Newark, DE Creative planning was required to develop a 59-unit hotel on a small 1.3-acre site. Opened in 2/14/02 as one of the first franchised Non-Smoking Hotels in the state, and one of the first few in the Nation Featured on ABC Evening News.

Increased an Acquisition and Creating of Corporate Condo’s to meet the needs of Long-term Stay.

Acquired and obtained approvals for a six-story, 95 unit Hotel site that was later sold to Extended Stay of America. The site completed construction and opened as an Extended Stay of America at Centerville, VA.

Acquisition of Best Western / Johnny Appleseed Inn of 90 units with Restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA.

Created turn-a-round of 215 Bed and 200 Bed Acute-Care and Psychiatric Hospital including General Accounting, Business Office, Data Processing, and Material Management through this HealthCare Management Company.

AmeriHealth Management, Inc., Richmond, VA. Chief Financial Officer / Assistant Administrator 1989-1990 Newport News General Hospital, Newport News, VA.

Developed a turn-a-round plan of a 126 Bed Acute-Care hospital. This includes accounts payable, payroll, business office, emergency room, management information system, material management, and general accounting. Refinancing $23 Million through HUD, 2nd Placement and private placement Memorandum. Acquisition of hospital by Doctor’s Investment Group (DIG). Contributed to in reorganization of a hospital seeking protection through Chapter 11 of Bankruptcy Code and met financial reporting requirements of the court. MeadowWood Behavioral Hospital/Nu-Med Psychiatric, Inc., New Castle, DE. Controller 1987-1989 Designed fiscal affairs of a new adolescent psychiatric hospital (50 Bed). Included Construction business office, accounts payable, payroll, data processing, admission, medical records, gift shop, and material management. Recipient of Controller of the Year award for excellence among all NuMed Psychiatric Hospital.

Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Psychiatric Eastern Division –Rockford Center Controller 1983-1987 Created a system for accounting function of 50 to 186 bed psychiatric and rehabilitation hospitals. Included daily financial operation, monthly and yearly closing. The monthly operational report created the financial records and statistics needed by the hospital and corporate office for evaluating financial with Cash management also satisfying regulatory and audit requirements.
