RESPONSIBILITIES
Well experienced with Preparation and implementation of Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
Preparation of PQR Test for various welding process like SMAW, SAW, GMAW and GTAW.
Prepare PQR, WPS, and WQT Procedure for client approval.
Witness Mechanical testing (Tensile test, Bend test, Charpy v-notch test, Hardness etc.)
Prepare and review of material traceability, weld map, weld summary sheet, punch list, test pack and Material approval submittal (MAS) .

Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing and Qualification and Training of Welders in accordance with ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1 and Client Specification.
Witness and verify NDT method MT, DPT, RT, UT and review its reports.
Monitor the Shop and Field fabrication activities to ensure that the works been execute according to the specification and standard.
Knowledge about various standards and specifications (ASME B 31.3, AWS D 1.1 and ASME Sec IX, API 650).
Review of all applicable documents such as scope of work, Drawing, Quality plan, Procedures, codes & standards.
Inspection of material and welding consumables (Dimensional check, Heat number, Grade, etc.)
Carryout material inspection and also reviewing MTC with relevant standards and Review PMI test value.
Stage wise inspections like (Material identification, checking of fit ups, visual inspection of weld, Non-destructive testing).
Evaluating the results with relevant codes and standards for the NDEs, PMI, PWHT, Hardness tests etc.
Monitored Pre Heat/PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) and Solution Annealing Heat treatment examination and Reviewed PWHT charts in accordance with client procedure and specification
Line walk and Punch list preparation before Hydro test.
Torqueing and Hydro testing activities as per Project Requirements
Maintaining and monitoring of all involve equipment’s used in welding control and others that properly identified and calibrated as per procedure.
Review of Mech completion- Welding/NDT-Approval of test pack –calibration certificate of Pressure gauges, PRV, Chart recorder.
In-process inspection and control of product non-conformities, Documentation, Conducting Third Party/Client’s inspection and review.
Conducted load test with TPI for the lifting leg of Man basket, Material basket, Coil stand etc.
Carryout inspection as per RFI (Request for inspection).
Preparation of Inspection Report and Final Document for Dossier.
Painting / coating inspection of steel structural works, pipeline, pressure Piping, Tank External and internal coating.
Final Inspection of Surface preparation and Application Documentation, Monitoring weather specified conditions check the Ambient Temperature (wet / dry), Dew Point and Relative Humidity before the commencement of work.
Prepare “inspection & test plan” (ITP) for specific project / company requirements/ surface preparation and painting / coating procedure.
Hot dip galvanizing coating inspection.

Co-ordinate with the paint manufacturer technical representative on daily basis & Check with proper storage of coatings as per manufacturer’s data sheet.
Check the Abrasive before starting of the Blasting.
