Principal / Managing Principal (Mar 1999 – Jan 2006) – Mr. Hendon has managed and led all phases of the business development process including opportunity identification, understanding client needs, defining / developing solutions that meet client requirements, gaining client commitment to go forward, contract negotiations and ensuring high client satisfaction upon through delivery.

Consulting Resource Manager (Mar 1998 – Mar 1999) – For the IBM Object Technology national practice, Mr. Hendon was the Second Line Consulting Resource Manager for 60+ consultants geographically spread across the entire United States and Canada.

Program / Project Leader (Mar 1995 – Mar 1998) – For the IBM Object Technology national practice Mr. Hendon was a program / project leader for numerous complex and FOAK (First of a Kind) application development and technology projects. The project types were (Application Development and IT Strategy).

Senior Consultant (Mar 1991 – Mar 1995) – As a consultant in the IBM Consulting Group, and later, IBM Business Consulting Services, Mr. Hendon worked with numerous clients and made recommendations on business strategy, rapid prototyping and object technology solutions to solve critical business problems. Mr. Hendon led a team that was recognized with a $150K Suggestion Award which saved the IBM Corporation $150 Million in labor cost.

Systems Integration Bid Consultant (Mar 1990 – Mar 1991) – Mr. Hendon managed all aspects of the Systems Integration (SI) bid development activity for the IBM Professional Services Division across a 9-state geography. Mr. Hendon was viewed by IBM Professional Services Regional and Branch Managers as a “trusted advisor” on all aspects of the bid process.

Program Manager (Mar 1989 – Mar 1990) – Mr. Hendon managed all aspects of two internal programs across a 9 State region: 1) Develop software business partner relationships to drive IBM software revenue growth) 2) “General Contracting”. The focus of this program was to transform the IBM sales team from being product focused to services focused. Mr. Hendon’s contributions resulted in his region leading the country in business results for these two programs.

Systems Engineering Manager (Mar 1983 – Mar 1989) – Mr. Hendon managed systems engineering activity for the Rockford, IL branch office and later the Milwaukee, WI branch office. In the Rockford branch office, he had resource responsibility for 22 Systems Engineers (SEs). His SE Team covered the Customer Center, large systems, mid-range and the engineering / scientific unit. While at the Milwaukee branch office, Mr. Hendon was part of a larger SE organization in a branch office that was awarded IBM’s President’s Trophy Branch Office (IBM’s top branch office in all of the North Central Marketing Division).

Program Administrator (Jan 1982 – Mar 1983) – For a 9-state region, Mr. Hendon was the Program Administrator for IBM’s mid-range systems market support activities, mid-range CRITSIT management and branch office technical support planning. He developed a technical support planning process that was later implemented nationwide.

Systems Engineer (Oct 1976 – Jan 1982) – As a Systems Engineer, Mr. Hendon was responsible for engineering mid-range systems for client specific business and IT needs. In addition, he installed IBM mid-range packaged software (DMAS, MAPICS, RMAS) and developed custom software, under contract, for assigned clients. In addition, Mr. Hendon co-authored an IBM Field Develop Program and was recognized with branch office and regional awards for excellence. During one of these years, his branch office was recognized as IBM’s President’s Trophy Branch office for the General Systems Division (top branch office performance).
