-Continuously improved and reduced overall cycle time on Inbound, Warehouse and Outbound carton processing. Conducted time studies focusing on lifecycle of a carton and identified where processing time could be improved. Reduced processing time from 48 hours to 33 hours through problem solving activities with my leadership team over a three-month period.
-Manages day-to-day operations processing 52 million inbound and 48 million outbound cartons per annum while leading Operations Managers, Coaches and 280 Warehouse employees to ensure overall operational goals are achieved. Successfully reduced OT to 3.1% YTD and achieved total controllable expense goals year over year by creating and executing a strategic operational plan.
-Reduced safety ORI rate to 3.45 for 2019 by developing a team member owned safety program. Identified focus areas to prevent incidents from occurring, engaged team members to problem solve and ultimately implemented an employee owned safety program which lead to improved safety behaviors which reduced ORI rate.
-Improved automation performance by increasing carton throughput by 8% leveraging system settings. Worked directly with system engineers and my team to problem solve and develop a strategic plan to address system waste and redundancies.
-Developed bench talent through developmental plans with my leaders, consistently met with them to discuss their goals and progress on their plans. Successful maintained staffing without any openings.
