As part of SQEM Tools project, I used to automate various flows of MyAT&T web pages using UFT tool to calculate response times of various pages of myatt.com web portal and report response times to AT&T to improve att.com web site based on response time of various pages. We have implemented SQEM Tools project using descriptive programming with UFT 12.02 tool.

Description: LOS is an ordering & provisioning 3-tier application used by customer care associates to cater the customer’s request for classic landline or VOIP related services being offered by AT&T. Being an application servicing the end user, it interacts with various external interfaces to keep all the parameters related to any services / offer in-sync wherein the complexity of the application lies. The main interfaces are LSAM (Local Service Activation Manager), R&M (Repair & Maintenance), CSAM (Customer Service Activation Manager), TPV, RAMP, etc. The ordering and provisioning system is distributed in three major section vis-à-vis Integrated Pre-Order processing, Order Processing, TPV. Pre-order section interacts with LSAM and performs Address Validation, TN reservation, CSR retrieval. During Order processing the order gets decomposed into multiple work orders and gets processed by its respective system (i.e. external interface). The application also supports reporting and metrics generation for client.

Written one QTP script as value add for eLOS application.

Description: Global Craft Access System (GCAS), an application to manage jobs for a technician on the field (Dispatch Business Area). A technician uses this application to know the job details he/she need to handle & then follow the necessary workflow in the system. The area of AT&T’s technical support is divided into five regions; each region has one or more Operating Center (OC). The Technicians use GCAS to dispatch on a Job, Close/Return a job, perform Billing, Time Reporting and multitude other functions like look up of facility assignments, perform cable pair change, sales referrals, order material etc. The WFA applications maintain a separate list of jobs per region per OC. Each OC has a list of technicians working on Installation and/or Repair jobs. The Jobs are broadly categorized as POTS and Specials. The GCAS application runs on Technicians IFD, which is a rugged laptop built by Panasonic.

Description: OMS – Order Management System: Clarify will only launch OMS for ordering LS products, if Clarify has received confirmation that all LS products are available to the customer at his service address. It will provide OMS with the necessary information (such as unique Transaction ID) to update the customer’s order information when the order is initiated. Clarify holds the user profiles and Role IDs of OMS and will check whether the user is authorized to launch OMS. Clarify CRM is the source system for customer account data. The BAN will be established before OMS is launched within Clarify and will be passed from Clarify to OMS.

Description: GCP is an Enterprise solution for AT&T business to solve issues of data quality, integrity and accuracy. This is achieved by creating a Virtual Database of Record of AT&T Business Objects (i.e. customer, circuit etc). These Business Objects are populated with data attribute, each of which is defined as a field of record from the most reliable data source. GCP is characterized by real time data retrieval and optimized performance.

GCP allows for a consistent data structure and values by shielding the legacy structures from new demand applications. It provides a logical data model that is independent of the back end data systems. It provides databases that are based on the approach to building the Enterprise Data Bus is based on the Fine Grain approach currently being supported by the Tele Management Forum. Fine Grain basically means that conversion to a consistent GCP for back end systems can be done on an incremental basis allowing for staging over time. In other words, it is not an all or nothing approach, rather some systems can be converted initially while others can be done later depending on the needs of the business and on the services they support.
