Duties and Responsibilities

To ensure effective compliances of safe working practice and relevant safe operating procedures pertaining to HSE.

To understand the requirements of client in order to carry out all safety activities.

Perform daily safety inspection to indentify unsafe condition, unsafe practices, unsafe equipments, tools and initiate corrective action directly to Supervisor/Foreman to eliminate/prevent hazards.

Giving safety orientation to employees as per plant requirement, as authorized by plant safety committee.

Conduct Tool Box Meeting, to remind workers about safety rules and regulation at the job site.

Set personal example and educate the employees in proper wearing of appropriate personal protective equipments.

To ensure all workers having Personal Protective Equipments.

Providing and conducting Basic Fire Fighting and Fire Extinguisher familiarization training, Confined Space Entry and use of Full Body Harness.

To create awareness among to adopt think safety, work safety and also train the use of personal protective equipment to every person at the job site.

Conduct and ensure monthly Fire Extinguisher inspection and updating Tag as been carried out.

Installation of safety sign, traffic control sign, and other safety promotion posters to remind workers to work safety and enhance safety awareness among them.

Prepare daily Safety Report and submit to the Loss Prevention Department to identify the cause of accident and corrective action to prevent cost of damaged.

Check the equipments and tools are maintained in a good condition.

To investigate and report on all serious/critical personal injury accidents occurring to workers, staff and visitors to the appropriate senior officials.

Assist in the investigation of all accidents/incidents the result in substantial damage to board vehicles and property.

Monitoring the house keeping for particular area and implement good housekeeping at all times.

Monitor Company Occupational Health and Safety regulation applicable to the company and recommends and implements program to ensure company is in compliance with all regulations.

Conduct weekly safety walkthrough at the sire and note down the findings to be done.

Keep permanent records of Injuries, Fires, Motor Vehicle Accidents(MVAS) property damage, Crane/Heavy Equipments accidents which have occurred at the site.

In recognition of outstanding safe work performance and continuing compliance and support to zero incident/accident GOAL.
