Receive the client in post operative unit and keep the client in proper position
Continuous monitoring of patient’s airways, breathing and vital signs and call for a physician if any compilation arise.
Watch carefully for any sign hemorrhaging, infection or inflammation, alerting and attending physician if necessary.
Administer medication, change position, maintain IV drips, provide bath and basic hygiene.
Teach the patient and patient care givers at discharge time about care at home.
