● World’s largest 1.2MTPA Corex gas based DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Worked as a Lead Process engineer for the complete Gas purification area.

● Gas Purification area Consists of

a. Fabric Filter

b. Corex Export Gas Area

c. Pressure Swing Adsorption area (CO2 Removal System) d. Recycle Gas Compressor Area

e. Flare stack

f. Coke oven Gas Area

1. Process-Checking of complete Mass balance, P&IDs, Equipment and Instrument Datasheets, logic diagrams. Co-ordination with the Technological Supplier and discussion with Vendors, gone for inspection of bellows and Control & Shut-off valves. Inspected all the technological equipments at site supplied by vendors and successfully commissioned.

2. Civil - Checking all civil drawings as per the Technology supplier and supervising at site. 3. Mechanical-Checking all structural and Equipment fabrication and erection drawings . Co-ordination with the Technological supplier for modifications. 4. Instrumentation-Checking the complete Instrument (I/O) list with respect to P&IDs and process data for the Flow meters and Valves. Trouble shooting the instrument failures at site.

5. Commissioning-Successfully commissioned five Centrifugal compressors out which 3 are double stage (Corex Export Gas Compressors capacity-20000Nm3/hr 13MW) and two are single stage (Recycle Gas Compressors 100000 Nm3/hr 6MW), One Screw Compressor(Coke oven gas Compressor 15000Nm3/hr 1MW). Erected & Commissioned the world’s largest CO2 Removal system (Three PSA Trains consisting of 42 adsorber vessels.)

6. Operations- Working as Process Engineer for the DRI plant. Preparing daily production reports, working on optimization and reduction in specific consumptions thereby increasing the profitability.
