Scope: AMCDE, acting as a Subcontractor for the in kingdom work for KBR, the FEED design services contractor for Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) is responsible for the planning and development of a grass root Shaybah NGL Recovery Facilities to maximize natural gas liquids recovery in Shaybah fields. This plant will extract the valuable NGL components from 2,400 MMSCFD of Shaybah associated gas arriving from different GOSPs and deliver the lean gas at the required pressure to the interconnecting pipeline from Shaybah NGL plant to GOSP-2 and GOSP-4. The new NGL recovery facilities consist of Two (2) contactors, two stripping systems, and two (2) NGL recovery trains and its supporting facilities which include residue gas compression, acid gas compression and dehydration, an NGL surge and shipping unit, a refrigerant make-up unit, air separation unit, power plant, infrastructure utilities, distributed control system, control room, communication facilities, administration building, flare and blow- down systems.

Responsibility: include preparation of IFP and IFB packages for the site preparation and temporary construction facilities, which include offices and accommodation units. Scope: WorleyParsons, acting as the Project Management Consultant for Advanced Business for Modern Technologies (ABM) is responsible for the planning and development of a new refinery and petrochemical complex in Bahrain with a capacity ranging from 400,000 – 500,000 bpd in Sitra Bahrain. The overall project comprises a new refinery and petrochemical complex and the infrastructure and utilities for support. The refinery consist of process plants, CCGT power Plant, crude and products storage tanks, marine facilities for loading and unloading, subsea pipeline for the Arabian Heavy Crude feedstock from Ras Tanura to refinery location. The current scope of work is to produce a pre-feasibility study for the new refinery and petrochemical complex to independently confirm the economic viability of the project and evaluate the size of the proposed site location. Responsibility: The work included market analysis including local and potential export market, refinery and petrochemical complex configuration development, process yields qualities and process unit capacities, tank farm configuration, investment cost and economic modelling including feedstock, operating and construction costs and product values. This study is intended to provide the client with an economic understanding of the various configurations for the refinery and petrochemical complex which will enable an informed decision to be made regarding the best economical configuration that best suit the client requirements and the size of the plot space required.

Maaden Phosphate project – Ras Al Khair Mineral Resources Industrial City Scope: WorleyParsons, acting as the Project Management Consultant for Saudi Arabian Mining Company MA'ADEN, is responsible for the planning and development of Mineral Resources Industrial City (MRIC) at Ras AZ Zawr. MA'ADEN is a major mineral resource company in the Middle East and has several large mines already established across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The city is comprised of a phosphate processing plant, alumina refinery, aluminum smelter, Desalination and power station, deep-sea port, desalination plant, including various aluminum and phosphate downstream industries. Responsible for the preparation of FEED bid packages including project specifications and technical scope of work and for the selection of LSTK contractors for various facilities of the MRIC. In addition I am a key member for the preparation of the MRIC master plan that includes coordination with various client departments i.e. aluminum, phosphate and infrastructure to optimize the MRIC site layout and meet each department requirements.
