•Making sure the used equipment are returned to the circulatory nurse

•Segregation and proper disposal of waste materials

•Collection and labeling of specimen for lab investigation

•Wound care and dressing

•Disinfection and cleaning of surgical instruments and sending them for sterilization

•Explaining the procedure to the patient and providing psychological support to him/her
