1. Review on Statins: Pleiotropic Effects

This review says that therapeutic potential of statins extends beyond lipid lowering. Correctly underlying these pleiotropic effect suggest a new method to prevent and treat wide variety of life threatening disorders. Thus statins has added a wide scope of potential targets ranging from acute coronary syndrome to other renal infections and neuroleptic disorders. 2. Review on Errors in Inhalation Technique: Need of Educations and Interventions This review assess the quality of inhalation technique in patients and to determine the effect of a single intervention by community pharmacies to improve knowledge of patient regarding use of inhalers in asthma and COPD.

3. Research work Assessment and educational intervention in inhalation techniques among asthma and COPD patients in a tertiary care hospital, Erode, Tamilnadu, India. Our study concluded that the inhalation technique of asthma and COPD in patients were poor. A patient counselling with practical measures have to be taken in order to minimize errors and optimize treatment.

4. Antibiotic Residues In Milk Products: Impacts On Human Health. Once antibiotics are given to the animal body; their products contain antibiotic residues in elevated or low levels. The withdrawal time of various drugs should therefore be strictly observed and milk should not be used for human consumption during this period. Antibiotic use as a growth promoter should be strictly forbidden and should be used in appropriate doses and for proper time whenever used for therapeutic purposes.
