Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement Responsibilities -

Coordinate with QA Manager together with Project Management to solve the vendor’s, materials and subcontractor’s issue regarding materials procurement, inspection and on time delivery at site

Quantity survey- based on priority and commodity

Techno commercial negotiations with vendors.

Coordinates between QA/QC and Saudi Aramco for Project and Internal Audits through a SA approved third party agency at completion of 15% & 60% Procurement Phase

Review/prepare of Materials Requisition (MR), Inspection Assignment Package (IAP), and Non material requirement (NMR) for all the Discipline.

Conversant with System Standards ARAMCO Standards/ ASME/ASTM/API/BS/ISO 9000 Standards, Quality requirements specified in the project scope of work & as per Schedule Q.

Ensure that the materials delivered comply with the Standard and Specification based on the Project and site requirement

Coordinated with the third party inspector in regards to the requirement needed when conducting inspection

Inspection of Raw materials like Pipes, Plates, Flanges, Clad Plates. Includes correlation of Heat numbers, Material test certificates review, Visual and Dimensional of raw materials. Heavy Boiler, Guillotine Dampers, Stacks, Flare, Steam Turbine, Economizers Boiler Drums, Material Inspection (Heavy Piping Valves MOV Ranges Size 42” 24” 16” to Small Bores). Review the Inspection test plans (ITP's), Quality management procedure documents Review before conducting Inspection

Review the IFC (Issued for Construction Package) packages, Governing standards and specifications.

Review fabrication and erection documents and work quality in terms of specification, workmanship and other variables as indicated in the above mentioned documents as per Quality standard procedure and client’s specifications.

Responsible for the entire piping erection & inspection activities.

Ensure Satisfactory Identification of materials (PMI reports review). Review of piping P&ID and isometric drawings.

Reviewing Procedures for Documentation as per Project Specifications.

Monitoring the welding of joints according to Isometric Drawings and Checking Diameter, Thickness, Drawing Number, & Class in welding Progress report.

Monitoring and inspecting the prefabrication works by the contractors including the inspection of incoming materials, material handling, heat number transfer, Fit-up, PMI (Positive material identification), reinforced pad test.

Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.

Monitoring and inspecting the prefabrication works including the inspection of incoming materials, material handling, and heat number transfer activities.

Evaluation of test package contents, lines checking against drawing requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy of the piping system

Reviewing final Packages for Hydro-Tests, approving & releasing for Hydro-Test.

Verify flow direction arrows on valves; also verify that the properly identified of valves are installed in accordance with the P& I D.

Witness of Reinstatement of piping system after Hydro test.

Final line checking and punch listing as per P&ID as per standards.

Co-ordinate with client’s project inspection unit for necessary project inspection for witnessing / Hold points.

Conducted Alignment inspections for Rotating & Statics Equipment’s Inspections

Conduct site RFI Inspection related to Equipment, Piping, Insulation and Hydro test

Issue Internal NCR and Logbook for violations
