Resume:

To Whom it may concern'

I have many desirable qualifications:

-good communication skills

-responsible and efficient hard worker; independently or in a team atmosphere

-flexible, open and accepting of new challenge

-desire to learn and the ability to adapt quickly

-detail oriented and still able to work quickly and efficiently

-organized; capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

-excellent knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas

I have experience working in warehouses and offices, as well as out of a vehicle. In different positions, I have been responsible for:

-loading and unloading trucks

-dispatching

-handling incoming and outgoing calls

-customer relations; on the phone and in person

-maintaining high confidentiality

-bank deposits and reconciliations

-meeting deadlines

-training new employees

-filing, data entry and invoicing

-using a forklift and pallet jack

-driving regular vehicles, cargo and cube vans (with up to an 18’ box)

-driving automatic or standard transmissions

With Floral Delivery, I trained new employees, loaded and unloaded trucks, did city-wide deliveries and pick-ups, covered routes for drivers who were sick or booked vacation time, answered calls and occasionally covered dispatch; some days were a mix of all these duties.

I kept a log of deliveries and timed signatures throughout the day, as well as a timed schedule for pick-ups, deliveries and meeting drivers back in the warehouse to sort and route deliveries.

With Sentinel Security, I checked “static sites” to be sure that Guards there were safe and secure and didn't require assistance. I assessed and secured sites that had no Guard on duty. I answered any alarms that happened in my area during my shift and completed paperwork during and after each shift.

While at the Calgary Health Region, I gained experience with PeopleSoft Technology; using it to set up Courses and Conferences; keep track of registrations; send confirmation, wait-list and reminder letters; and update attendance status after a course had run. I was in charge of facilitating and hosting the General Regional Orientation & Welcome (GROW) to an average of 200 people every second week. During my tenure, a course was deemed as belonging with another area and I was responsible for a portion of training the new E.L.A. for that department and course.

I appreciate the time you have taken to consider my application. I look forward to hearing from you soon at either adbxfp@r.postjobfree.com or 403-***-****.

Sincerely,

Sherri G. Gravelle
