Cut flooring and create patterns to meet New Flyer and Motor Coach requirements. This required an attention to exacting details to ensure the floors are cut correctly and that flooring waste is kept to a minimum. It also required the ability to read and understand detailed and complex requirement documentation.

Prepare goods for delivery and receiving goods. The involved wrapping goods, weighing the materials, and operating a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials.

Handling hazardous products and storage.

Organize and maintain inventory. This required both receiving and handling incoming materials shipments and preparing and loading outgoing product shipments. The shipments had to meet very strict shipping timelines, be correctly labeled, and be correctly loaded onto the delivery vehicles.

Provide quality assurance. I was required to ensure that all outgoing product met a very high standard of accuracy and even the smallest flaw could render the product unusable.

Supervise and train staff to cut floors.

I was awarded a gold status award from New Flyer seven years straight. This award acknowledge the level of excellence the company received in the product that I was shipping to them to be defect free and on time.
