Insurance Operations and Servicing: Fannie Mae Shared Risk Mortgage Portfolio Manager and Reinsurance Analyst

Individually managed / serviced a $5.5B Shared Risk Fannie Mae (Insurer) portfolio comprised of over 21,000 residential mortgage products. Responsible for reconciliations, government regulatory reporting requirements along with stress testing, risk modeling, reserving, aggregate loss / deductible calculations; all which required an extensive knowledge of the entire mortgage banking process to include origination, underwriting, servicing, default, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights in addition to secondary market insuring for securitization/capital market debt instruments such as bonds, risk transfer/shared risk pools and reinsurance (over $2.7M avg. annual revenue stream).

Worked closely with cross-functional teams to include Executive, Risk, Pricing, IT, Finance, Audit and Corporate Analytics. Processed all daily/ monthly servicing transactions related to portfolio management for reconciliation, billing, payments, loss mitigation activities, default reporting, claim settlements, repurchases, stress testing, performance modeling along with breach of contract recourse. In addition, conducted audit/re-underwrite of an annual quota (2%) of the total portfolio population (350 avg. per yr.).

Lastly, implemented efficient reporting process to reduce capital reserve requirement holdings over $6.75M from 2016-2018 all while conducting numerous ad-hoc projects requested regularly by executive committee and governing regulators.

Performed reinsurance project implementation and reinsurance analytics.
