Food plays many roles outside of its most basic function as a source of energy and nutrients for the human body. People attribute social and cultural values to food, use food as a variable in sports performance, and may have psychological and emotional issues connected to their diet. Also, I am a highly organised, professional and self-motivated dietitian nutritionist with a great passion for nutrition and people’s well-being. I have worked in this field in a variety of different settings ranging from government hospitals to private clinics and community centres. I have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. As future dietitian nutritionist, I look forward to the opportunity to directly impact an individual’s life by helping them navigate their understanding of the role that food plays in their life.
