Successfully creating a positive image for Temecula Valley Pride through media outreach and public relations. Since starting this position, Jared has increased followers by almost 50% on Facebook by creating relevant and engaging content for viewers. Set up and hosted events; assisted the Director of Community Services by contacting clients, preparing paperwork for meetings, marketing for city events (brochures and flyers); responded to public inquiries, provided information and resolved complaints; and created purchase orders for events. Assisted the City Clerk in the preparation of business license renewals; organized city ordinances; prepared, typed, and proofread reports for completeness and compliance with government policies. San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus
Assisting in operations, raising money for the chorus by working charity events and concerts. Aid the chorus singers by handing out music sheets and creating events for the members.
AIDS/LifeCycle
Educating individuals on HIV and safe sex while raising money to find a cure for HIV. Also help provide LGBT teenagers with housing at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
