Responsible for managing ALL aspects of the Atkins complex including but not limited to:

Twin Rivers is a Co-packing plant, that process’ for Tyson, Georges, Simmons, US Foods,

Tyler Chicken Brand, Golden Krust, Crider Foods, Peco, Zaxby’s, Hooters, KFC….to name a few.

Experience producing Food Service Products as well as Retail, Fresh and Frozen,

Dark Meat Debone, Portioning, IF, Skewer, Sizing, Slitting, Shipping and Receiving, Maintenance and

Sanitation depts. consisting of approx. 400 employees.

My job duties are to Direct and coordinate through subordinate personnel the day to day operations

in all mentioned areas.

Coordinate with Sales Management as well as Quality Dept. to ensure customer satisfaction and orders are met.

Direct and coordinate maintenance Manager outside of the routine PM schedule.

Project Management.

Inventory Management.

Develop and manage to a budget.

Continuously focus on yield improvements and company profitability.

Debone/ Marination Supervisor

Supervisor over deboning operation which consist of two separate deboning operations.

One mechanical line and one manual debone line. Which lead to a Meyn slitter

And All Breast meat as well as tenders are stripped, marinated, vacuumed tumbled and packaged into

Church’s, KFC and Popeye’s products.

Responsible for approximately 40 hourly employees.

Shift Manager

With a direct transfer from Clinton Ar. To Batesville Ar. came a promotion from

Production Superintendent to Shift Manager. As a Shift Manager I was fully responsible for all aspects

of operating a poultry slaughtering /whole bird packing / fast food cut-up operation

including but not limited to the following:

monitoring plant operational cost, efficiency and quality by continuously monitoring

departmental performances by shift, day, week, month, and year and make necessary

improvements by modifying production systems and processes.

Formulating and maintaining quality assurance objectives complementary to Corporate

and complex policies and goals.

Applying statistical process control methods for

analyzing data to evaluate any necessary process change.

Maintaining a working knowledge of government and industry codes, guidelines and standards.

Interacting in a professional and efficient manner as to maintain working relationships with

government employees as well as provide support and supervision for plant superintendents,

Supervisors, general staff and employees.

2nd Processing Superintendent

Shared responsibilities of 2nd shift processing, which include all of the following areas.

Deboning Operation which consist of:

Six manual front half deboning lines,

Two thigh deboning lines,

Two whole leg deboning lines.

Portion Control Departments: Two Portion Control lines (trim lines)

A tender trimming/sizing/ packaging dept.

“Max – Out “Department which consist of four machines that stamped out sized pieces of

breast meat,

IQF Operation which consist of two marination (injection) lines,

two spiral freezers,

three separate ishida and Pac Mac packing lines

Export Legs Dept. which consist of six packing lines.

All of which utilizes 330 hourly employees and 10 salaried supervisors.

Involved in all aspects of managing a 2nd processing operation.

Heavily involved in all aspects of Plant operational cost.

Improved Breast yields from 18.0% to >23.0%

Implemented yield tracking measures / procedures.

Improved net yield through IQF by 20%.

Involved in two dept. start-ups Max-Out, Whole Leg deboning operations.

August 1999 – May 2002 Boars Head Provisions Co. Forrest City, Ar.

Production Supervisor.

Held responsibilities for all quality, time, cost savings, safety, etc. aspects of directing the Poultry Dept. which consisted of 105 hourly employees, four line leaders The Poultry dept. consisted of three injection/ tenderizing machines, seven vacuum tumblers, five packing lines which packed up to 10,000 lbs. of chicken breast and 130,000 lbs. of turkey breast, producing 10 different products on a daily basis.

Was also provided the opportunity to work with the R&D dept. to create and introduce new products to various regions of the US. I was also responsible for the start-up of new production lines that would be used to produce the new products. Including all hiring and training aspects involving the new employees. Responsibilities for the line set-up involved drafting / engineering the line layouts as well as defining the type of equipment that needed to be utilized to obtain excellent efficiencies.

Responsible for the quality of all poultry products, including some customer complaint concerns.

Implemented cost savings / loss program and yield tracking procedures.

Chairman of the Poultry Product Improvement Committee.

March 1998 – August 1999 Butterball Turkey Co. Carthage, Mo.

Production Supervisor

Supervisor of a day shift Deboning operation, consisting of a whole bird deboning line.

Overseer of five-line leaders, 208 hourly employees.

Shared responsibilities over the Chiller operation and “G&D” dept. (Grading and Distributing)

Shared Responsibilities of two shipping and receiving docks.

Trained to operate the Blending Dept. using least cost formulation procedures.

May 1992 – March 1998 Hudson Foods/ Tyson Foods Dexter, Mo.

Quality Assurance / Debone Supervisor

Started out working on the line as an hourly employee.

Promoted to Quality Assurance as lead person and held accountable for two shifts.

(Total of six different departments.)

Operated the Microbiology Lab responsible for all lab testing and reports concerning

new cook plant operations and reported results.

Promoted to Second shift debone Supervisor, which consisted of

4 manual front half deboning lines, implementing 108 employees.
