Connecticut Welder Certified for Boilers and Steam fittings 1971 Employment History:

Music Audio/ Entertainment Technology Ft. Lauderdale, FL 1996-2001 After leaving “Infinity” I was called by another captain to troubleshoot and fix electrical problems he had on a brand new boat. In the mix of electrical wiring was a Linn whole house audio system installed by a company from Atlanta Georgia that only did houses. The wiring was sloppy and would not pass any insurance survey. I was asked by the owner of the company that installed the Linn system to make the wiring right. I did and then he asked of I could wire a Linn system on a 156' yacht. I did. The he asked of I could help install all of the components for both the whole house audio and the individual entertainment systems, and then he asked if I could program it all to work. Fortunately Linn Hi Fi had an office in Jacksonville where I went to learn how to program everything. Then he asked me to manage a store he was opening in Ft. Lauderdale. I said yes and ran the store and did audio and video installations on yachts, in large homes, and restaurants. Music Audio was sold to Entertainment Technology in 1998 and I went to work there as an integrator, designer, project manager, and programmer.

Adroit Associates Inc. Ft. Lauderdale & Lake Wales, FL 2001- 2009 Project Management, Electrical service, Automation Design, and Programming. I did installations, programming of entertainment systems, and automation as a subcontractor for Entertainment Technology. During this time, we did complete entertainment and whole house audio systems on Destiny Yachts Hull 1, 2, and 3, “Neninka” a 154’ CRN, and others. I have done consulting work, project managing, and programming on “Princess Marianna” a 264’ Royal Denship, installed complete entertainment systems at the owner’s houses in Mexico City, “Musbe Dreamin” a 108’ Westship, and “Fortunate Sun” a 165’ Feadship. I also did a complete new 14,000 sq ft house build with automated lighting, whole house audio, 3 separate entertainment systems, and closed circuit cameras throughout the property. In March of 2008, one of the owners I had worked for in the past, bought a 62' sailboat and asked me to upgrade some of the electrical and install a satellite system while the boat was in Panama. In Feb, 2009 the owner decided to completely redo and refit this same boat in Ft. Lauderdale. His timeline was extremely compressed. My job was to keep 11 workers doing their jobs without slowing each other down in an extremely small space, while, at the same time, replacing the TV's, receivers, and radios. The workers were costing over

$900/hr/ so efficiency was at a premium. Even with an extremely compressed schedule, everything the owner wanted done was finished on time.

There was an expensive, but dated, home theater in the owner's house that needed attention. After the boat left, I replaced most of the components including LD and VCR players. The projector and scaler were replaced as well. The automation was completely changed to RTI brand with total Lutron Radio Ra lighting control added into the RTI program to get more enjoyment out of the viewing experience. Home Health Technologies Inc. 2009- 2015

Home Health Technologies was formed to apply much of what was used in the entertainment and automation business to keeping seniors comfortable and safe in their own homes. The impetus of this was my own elderly mother. When her friends saw what could be done to make their lives more convenient, more enjoyable, and safer, they asked if they could have some of the same technology installed in their homes. With an eye on safety first, we found we could improve seniors lives with conveniences like automated, and better, lighting, automated door locks, automated window treatments, and cameras. I did entertainment, enjoyment, and convenience installations, in addition to our senior focused projects. The advances in automation and integration are extremely rapid. One of the things learned is that I won't do any job without having full control over the home network. I learned all about VPN's, DDNS, and VLAN's out of self defense. So, while not an expert, I am extremely competent. Automated Lighting & Living . 2016- present

I moved to the Crystal River area and started a new company continuing on with what I had been doing. In November of 2017 I contracted to redo a 153' yacht's lighting and entertainment system in Ft. Lauderdle, which took almost a year. While doing that I was contacted by a friend who was involved with building a new yard to handle large yachts in Ft. Pierce. We updated the offices, working sheds, the rest of the on land facilities, and installed a complete security system, including cameras. Several months ago the owner of the property, and largest investor of the company, stopped any more spending. A new seawall and 400' of docking are needed to complete the facility. I was offered a project manager's job, in Ft. Pierce also, to oversee reconstruction of a `1400 square foot, three bedroom apartment that had been stripped to the studs, with heavy termite damage to the floors, joists, and studs. That project was finished several weeks ago. I have been away from my home area for so long that putting my previous business back together is not something I am looking forward to doing. I am willing to relocate for the right job. Traveling for extended periods is just fine for me. I currently reside in Vero Beach, Florida
