These start ups ranged from government DoD manufacturing, to aerospace, to industrial manufacturing, to retail, food services, major appliance return centers and finally healthcare supply chain solutions.

●Developed Supplier Performance Management solution for Ricoh Services to offer to their clients. This solution delivers supply chain inbound visibility, actionable event management, expense recovery capabilities and individual scorecards to support a continuous improvement program as part of a client’s vendor compliance program. This solution utilizes BPM tools to effectively manage the inbound shipments through exception management and improve the quality and performance of both the process and the product from the suppliers. This initiative included developing the appropriate sales material, marketing program and supported sales activities in marketing the solution to external business clients, including proposal responses.

●Delivered strategy to improve direct-to-consumer fulfillment process and systems (eCommerce, B2C) for major retailer working with Commerce Hub and Infosys Consulting. Established a world-class model that leverages existing and new web technology to create a more agile and flexible base to support the business requirements and prepare for future expansion.

●Directed successful WMS software evaluation and selection process supported by Accenture, Kurt Salmon Assoc, and Sedlak. Selected Manhattan Assoc software

●Program management (PMO) for the software initiative to support new direct to consumer (B2C) distribution center. Implemented software from McHugh Freeman. Delivered improved volume throughput and reductions in the cost to fill customer orders.

Included B2C order fulfillment, a warehouse management system, reverse logistics and CRM applications.

Multi-function team made up of external consultants from Accenture and Kurt Salman, software vendors McHugh Freeman, internal technical, internal business. Required extremely high level of effort and coordination to plan and focus the delivery effort successfully.

●Directed successful delivery of four major initiatives to outsource application support activities to third party, offshore partner Tata Consulting Services, Infosys and IBM and Syntel.

Reduced the cost of these activities by 50% without impacting the service level.
