Spanish-speaking Investigator at the Santa Cruz County Public Defender’s Office (Law offices Biggam, Christensen & Minsloff). I work with investigators and attorneys, I assist in writing letters to request records from law enforcement agencies, medical facilities, and other businesses as well as translate written documents. I also prepare and serve subpoenas, locate and interview witnesses, and write reports based on those interviews. I am familiar with various databases commonly used to locate witnesses and gather background information. I also assist in interpreting for attorney/client meetings in the office and in the Santa Cruz County Jail Facilities. FACILITIES ASSETS COORDINATOR ASSISTANT C.H.E.S. FACILITIES, UCSC.

I managed office tasks for the East Zone Maintenance staff and support the existing supervisors in the office. I hire new student employees, process background checks, send emails, answer phones, follow up on supervisors and staff alike, and perform weekly routine campus check-ups for keys. I have been in charge of several large office tasks including counting and planning several buildings worth of furniture inventory, and hiring new student workers and settling them into their new routine. The job requires a cool head and quick thinking as I work hand in hand with many other administrators and project managers on campus and deal with university policies. SUPERVISOR R.C.C. Computer: Strong internet research skills, detail oriented and ability to multitask, familiarity with using computers and general proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and spreadsheets.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:

My local church organized youth group retreats and I assisted in fundraising for these retreats through food events, car washes, music events & community awareness.
