• Al Marjan Island is a master development of 4 man-made islands, with the Govt of RAK (A Rating by Fitch and S&P)

• Marketed Al Marjan as a top investment destination to international investors, and sourced numerous developers and hotel investors, to invest in freehold land parcels upto USD 100mm.

• Hand-held investors on various aspects of project development – planning, design, funding, construction, sales

e) 2006-12: Unitech : Vice President - Marketing

• Recruited in 2006 as General Manager, Marketing by Unitech, one of India’s leading property developers, I was responsible for marketing realty projects, on a pan-India basis across residential, commercial & retail verticals.

• Reporting directly to the owner Managing Director, was promoted to Vice President and Head of Marketing

• Oversaw the Sales of Unitech’s luxury properties portfolio, and was the Head of Unitech’s Punjab projects as well

• Worked closely with CIG Fund, especially relating to the investment in the projects in Punjab and Chennai.

• Extensive marketing legwork for fast launch of new projects (34 projects launched in 9 months), ranging from hi- end Luxury Golf Villas (US$ 2mn+ per villa) to Affordable mass housing projects (US$ 30k+ per apartment).

• Led successful rollout of new Unitech Brand Identity (by Ray-Keshavan), across various marketing collaterals

• Concluded barter media deals with key press publications – TOI and HT, resulting in media savings of over 17%

• Liaison with international architects on concept and product design. Worked with Callison Inc., RMJM (HK), Belt Collins (S'pore), Square Peg Design (S'pore), Forrec, SOM, SWA for finalising masterplan and optimal product mix.

• Senior level liaison with Joint Venture partners of Unitech in Mumbai (Shivalik and Omkar) and launch of new JV projects in Chennai (Arihant) including a 300 acre township in south Chennai.

• Launched 2 hi-end malls in Delhi NCR – Great India Place, Noida (1.5mn sft) and Metrowalk, New Delhi, supported by extensive mall marketing programs & innovative shopper promotions/ festivals to enhance footfalls. f) 2003-06: Reckitt Benckiser : Marketing Manager/ Brand Manager
