Technology Leadership: Oversaw support, conversions, and upgrades for all corporate and mobile applications, workstations, physical network, all phone communications, and interconnectivity of 180-location WAN. Led 10 IT employees to support 500 desktops and 600 mobile devices and related apps for 1100 employees in 90 company offices and remote locations across 180 buildings. Supervised development and implementation of effective IT governance, risk, and compliance strategies. Developed/managed technology operations and assisted with capital budgets of $50M. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery – Coordinated the development and redevelopment of business continuity and disaster recovery plans based on lessons learned from direct experiences with disasters such as the blackout of the Northeast, and aftermaths of Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. De facto corporate point person for emergency events including coordinating physical building patrols during the blackouts and additional tasks outside of the standard Information Technology scope.

Cyber Security: Initiated/led multiple cyber security initiatives, including deployment/upgrades of firewalls, RADIUS servers, Wireless LAN security, physical security systems (cameras), and building access systems. Established and monitored network security procedures and frameworks.

Contract Management / Vendor Negotiations: Managed vendor relationships, evaluated and selected new solutions and vendors, and negotiated/enforced contracts.

Virtual Desktops / System Uptime: Negotiated with vendors and introduced Virtual Desktops across 80+ locations centralizing support, achieving high uptimes, eliminating most IT support travel time, and greatly increasing end user productivity.

Corporate Office 365 Cloud Initiative / Disaster Recovery Management: Transitioned MS Exchange Server and all locations to Office 365. Negotiated with Microsoft to eliminate MS Exchange licensing charges and delivered Disaster Recovery redundancy at lower costs than previous colocation plan.

Company-wide VoIP Service: Replaced individual location phone systems with VoIP system improving service, meeting disaster recovery goals, and reducing maintenance costs by $50K annually.

Operations Improvement / Internet Redundancy: Negotiated secondary lines of communications with vendors for all locations improving connectivity from 80% on any given day to 99.5%, significantly increasing operational productivity.

Corporate HQ Relocation: In support of corporate HQ move, scoped out IT plan, including telecommunications, wiring and electrical needs, data center setup, security camera plan, and key access system. Set up procedures for "Day 2" issues and affected seamless move.
