The Chicago Public School (CPS) System required a re-implementation of their Interface programs which utilized the PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS 8.9 Benefits and Benefits Administration modules. The project would create separate program support on a vendor bases, streamlining required data, while reducing data integrity issues found with employees’ benefits enrollment, deductions, and payments.

Proposed that Chicago Public Schools use the EDI HIPAA layout for their interfaces that would be sent to outside vendors deemed, which saved CPS money, time, and kept them government compliant
