INDIAN AIRFORCE Summer Intern

June 2019 – July 2019 Kanpur, UP, India

Experienced the different overhauling technique which is used over AN-32 transport aircraft.

Project based on Communication system of Antonov AN-32 as there is a communication signal black out while cruising over Bay of Bengal till Maldives, so to improve efficiency of communication system team had researched on Indigenous manufactured communication system which has long range transceiver.

TEAM WRISE IMech UAS Challenge

September 2019 – Ongoing UPES, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India

Team Leader of Airframe Designing unit

Designed and performed structure analysis on hexacopter with certain load constraints like maximum take-off weight and weather condition.

Designed a storage box with installed launch pad which can carry spiral folded hexacopter anywhere.

RESEARCH

Flow Analysis over a Bicambered Airfoil Major Project August 2019 – Ongoing UPES, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India

Designing of bicamber airfoil which have been used as high lifting device. As bicamber airfoil has two camber line due to which the flow is reattached on airfoil surface for longer duration to get more lift.

The structured mesh has been done in ICEM CFD and simulate flow to analysis in Ansys Fluent.

Contra Rotating Propeller Minor Project

August 2018 – May 2019 UPES, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India

A research had done to check and improve the thrust efficiency over contra rotating propeller. The results have been verified in Ansys fluent.

Static and dynamic test have also been performed on assembled model of contra rotating propellers.

Participated in RC-Plane flying in Techkirti techfest-2018 held at IIT Kanpur.

Selected in top 25 groups amongst 500 groups across India in Boeing National Aeromodelling Competition 2017 for aeromodelling of basic trainer RC controlled aircraft at IIT Kanpur.

Secured 2nd positon among 30 teams in chuck glider competition for maximum gliding distance organized by Aerospace Department, UPES.
