Updates all PM records and work records to accurately reflect current status Maintains, calibrates, and loads new or modified software to process control system and PLC s

Troubleshoots, fault finds, and repairs process and supporting instrumentation

Identifies instrumentation problems and raises queries and TMR s (Technical Modification Requests). Makes changes to improve and correct defective instrumentation and plant control

Reports daily activities, provide input to safety meetings, and reports any defects or deviations to my supervisor

Ensures all activities and work are carried out safely in accordance with established policies and procedures

Maintain equipment history and all relevant records in SAP

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of instrumentation systems, relevant regulations, and equipment by reference to technical journals, books, operating manuals, and other reference materials

Instrumentation ranges from pneumatic through to PLC's and PC's therefore the incumbent requires to develop a breadth and depth of discipline knowledge that presents many challenges
